Cpl. Josue Funes, Light Armored Vehicle repair technician, 3rd Light Armored Reconnaissance Battalion, has practiced martial arts for more than six years and has recently taken up Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu at the Yucca Valley Jiu-Jitsu training gym. In his time training, he has learned to never judge a fighter by their size and the importance of a calm mindset. - Cpl.
