Major General Thomas B. Savage
Commanding General, MAGTF Training Command, Marine Corps Air Ground Combat Center

Major General Savage enlisted in the Marine Corps in 1986, is a graduate of California State University, Chico, and was commissioned in August 1991. He is a graduate of The Basic School, the Infantry Officer Course, the U.S. Army Infantry Captains Career Course (honor graduate), the Marine Corps Command and Staff Course (distinguished graduate) , the School of Advanced Warfighting, the Naval War College (with distinction), and the United Kingdom Higher Command and Staff Course. He has also completed U.S. Army Ranger School, U.S. Army Airborne School, and the USMC Basic Reconnaissance Course.

Sergeant Major Ryan W. Meltesen
Sergeant Major, MAGTF Training Command, Marine Corps Air Ground Combat Center

Sergeant Major Meltesen was born in Westfield, Wisconsin and enlisted in the Marine Corps on 10 October 1995. He attended recruit training at MCRD San Diego, CA and graduated as the Platoon Honor Man from Charlie Company, Platoon 1053 on 29 December 1995. Upon graduation, Sergeant Major Meltesen was trained at the School of Infantry, Camp Pendleton, CA and he received the MOS 0352 Anti-Tank Assault man.

Colonel Scott A. Gehris
Chief of Staff, MAGTF Training Command, Marine Corps Air Ground Combat Center

Colonel Scott Gehris enlisted in the Marine Corps in 1993 obtaining the rank of Corporal. Commissioned a second lieutenant in 1997 upon graduation from The Pennsylvania State University. After completing the Basic School, he was assigned as an infantry officer and reported to 3D Battalion 7th Marines in 1998. He served as a Platoon Commander, Weapons Platoon Commander and Executive Officer for India Company and deployed twice under the Unit Deployment Program. Colonel Gehris was assigned to the Basic School in 2001, where he served as an instructor, a Staff Platoon Commander, and Infantry Officer's Course Instructor. He was selected to attend the Army Infantry Captain's Career Course in Fort Benning Georgia in 2004.
