Center Magazine Area (CMA)
The mission of the Center Magazine Area (CMA) is to receive, issue, account for and store Class V(A) and (W) material in support of all exercises conducted aboard Marine Air Ground Task Force Training Command (MAGTFTC). This annually includes Integrated Training Exercises (ITX), Desert Fire Exercises (DESFIREX), exercise Steel Knight, numerous other training exercises, and MCAGCC tenant units.

CMA's Hours of Operationsare 0730 to 1630 Monday through Friday with Thursday afternoons reserved for CMA training.

The Center Magazine Area consists of five sections:

1. Operations
- Provides technical expertise on matters concerning Class V material and controls the overall operations of the CMA.
2. Records
- Processes all documentation for Class V material to include: requisitions, cancellations, amendments, issues, commercial shipments, Notice of Ammunition Reclassification (NAR), Ammunition Information Notices (AIN), Clear for Overhead Fire notices.

3. Receipt, Storage, Segregation and Issues (RSSI)
- Receives and inspects all Class V material that is received by the CMA.
- Supervises the loading of all outgoing shipments of Class V material (commercial and military).
- Ensures that all explosive laden vehicles leaving the CMA are in compliance with all DOT and DOD regulations.
- Ensures that all Class V material is stored in compliance with NAVSEA OP 5 Vol 1.
- Prepares all Class V material required for use by using units and outgoing shipments (military and commercial).

4. Storage
- Ensures that all Class V material is stored in compliance with NAVSEA OP 5 Vol 1.
- Prepares all Class V material required for use by using units and outgoing shipments (military and commercial).
5. Quality Assurance (QA)
- Responsible for training and maintenance of training records for the Qualification Certification Program for Class V munitions and explosive devices.
- Maintains the Class V technical library.
- Inspects Class V material as required to ensure accountability, safety and proper condition code classification.
