A Marine with 2nd Battalion, 7th Marine Regiment, 1st Marine Division watches as Airman with the 729th Airlift Squadron, Air Force Reserve Command, guide Humvees onto a C-17 Globemaster III at the Air Combat Element landing strip as a part of a rapid deployment ready exercise at the Marine Corps Air Ground Combat Center, Twentynine Palms, Calif., Nov. 28, 2018. The purpose of this exercise was to display 2nd Battalion, 7th Marine Regiment, 1st Marine Division capabilities to deploy its command assets anywhere around the world in 96 hours within a 24 hour notice.
