Twentynine Palms -- Marines, sailors and Combat Center patrons were able to enjoy Super Bowl LII at Camp Wilson and the Brass and Rockers Club aboard the Combat Center, Feb. 4, 2018.
The Brass and Rockers Club, formerly known as the Officers’ Club, opened its doors for Combat Center patrons to enjoy the super bowl together. Each person who bought a drink at the bar was given a raffle ticket to win Bud Light prizes which included water bottles, lawn chairs and stuffed footballs.
Simultaneously, the United Services Organization hosted a super bowl celebration for Marines and sailors at Camp Wilson’s mess hall. Attendees viewed the game on the big screen television provided by the USO while enjoying the cuisine offered at the mess hall. They were also given the opportunity to win prizes through a raffle hosted by the Warriors’ Club.
This event marks the third year the USO brought the super bowl to Marines and sailors at Camp Wilson in an effort to raise morale and provide them with the opportunity to experience the game while in the field.
