A Tactical Training Exercise Control Group coyote directs fire for a Marine from Company F, 2nd Battalion, 8th Marine Regiment, during the Deliberate Assault Course at Combat Center Range 210 Jan. 16. Many of the Combat Center’s training areas have ranges built to accommodate Mojave Viper, the base’s 30-day pre-deployment training package. In order to increase Mojave Viper training, the installation’s Range/Training Areas Maintenance Section has teamed up with civilian contractors to construct a second set of Mojave Viper ranges.
