Seaman Jeremiah St. Thomas [right] and Pfc. Andrew Martin sweep through a notional mine field Feb. 18 at the Combat Center's newest training venue Op Barma. Now that Op Barma has been integrated into the Enhanced Mojave Viper predeployment training package, the need to train Marines and sailors in counter-IED techniques after they have already deployed has been eliminated.
