A U.S. Marine with 3rd Battalion, 5th Marine Regiment, 1st Marine Division, sights in during a Marine Air-Ground Task Force Warfighting Exercise (MWX) on Marine Corps Air-Ground Combat Center, Twentynine Palms, Calif., Feb. 16, 2021. MWX is a combined arms training exercise intended to produce combat ready forces capable of operating as an integrated Marine Air-Ground Task Force. MWX 2-21 affords 6th Marine Regiment an opportunity to exercise command and control of warfighting functions from across the Marine Corps and against a live, free thinking adversary.
