The average temperature aboard the Combat Center during the summer is 98 degrees and with the summer approaching, the days are beginning to heat up. The base provides a cost-efficient and convenient way for service members and their families to escape the desert heat. The Combat Center offers a small water park for children and five pools to help people keep cool this summer. (Official USMC photo by Cpl. Sarah Dietz/Released)
