U.S. Marine Corps explosive ordnance disposal technicians from across the Corps observe the aftermath of a controlled explosion on an empty Mk-82 bomb during controlled ordnance disposal training at Range 112, Marine Corps Air-Ground Combat Center, Twentynine Palms, California, March 5, 2025. This course, provided at the EOD Advanced Training Center, is the only course for EOD technicians to develop their skills and capabilities as EOD Response Element Leaders. They are taught to properly employ various techniques and planning considerations in accordance with EOD orders, doctrines, and publications in support of various missions across multiple domains.
