MARINE CORPS AIR GROUND COMBAT CENTER TWENTYNINE PALMS, Calif. -- The Marine Corps has concluded training in Johnson Valley. The land has been thoroughly inspected and returned to the Bureau of Land Management for safe public use and recreation.
The community’s support during closures of the Johnson Valley Shared Use Area is greatly appreciated. Military training in Johnson Valley is a vital component in maintaining national defense through progressive service-level training that best prepares Marines for combat operations.
