INCREASE IN MILITARY TRAINING NOISE
25 Jul 2025

There will be an increase in military training noise due to Marines and Joint Forces participating in Service Level Training Exercise 4-25 here, July 13 – Sept. 9, 2025.

During training, sound from the base may travel farther than usual due to changes in atmospheric conditions.

SLTE is a series of separate exercises designed to prepare the Marine Air Ground Task Force to respond to crises and conflicts around the globe by increasing their ability to integrate actions across the full range of military operations.

For more information or to report any concerns about training noises, please visit our website at https://www.29palms.marines.mil/Sound-Reporting or email: plms-mcagcc-sound_reporting@usmc.mil.
