JOHNSON VALLEY REOPENS TO PUBLIC FOLLOWING MARINE CORPS TRAINING

Following the conclusion of Marine Corps training in Johnson Valley, the Shared Use Area has been thoroughly inspected and returned to the Bureau of Land Management (BLM) for public use and recreation.

The community’s support during closures of the Johnson Valley Shared Use Area is greatly appreciated. Military training in Johnson Valley is a vital component in maintaining national defense through progressive service-level training that best prepares Marines for combat operations.
