Sergeant Major Yeaman was selected to assume the duties and responsibilities as the Command Senior Enlisted Leader of Marine Aviation Weapons and Tactics Squadron One in June 2026. A native of Kansas City, Missouri, Sergeant Major Yeaman enlisted in the Marine Corps in June 2003 and completed recruit training at Marine Corps Recruit Depot San Diego. He was assigned as an Intermediate Level Avionics Technician upon completion of military occupational specialty training. He has attended all required Marine Corps Resident Professional Military Education (PME) Courses, Senior Enlisted Joint PME I and II, Air Force Senior Enlisted Professional Military Education, and Cornerstone.
Sergeant Major Yeaman's assignments in the Fleet Marine Force include: Avionics Technician, Collateral Duty Inspector (CDI) with Marine Aviation Logistics Squadron 11 (August 2004-June 2008), Work Center Supervisor, Production Control Supervisor, CDI with Marine Aviation Logistics Squadron 13 (February 2012-August 2015), Unit Senior Enlisted Leader with Combat Logistics Battalion 4 (October 2020-March 2022), Unit Senior Enlisted Leader with Combat Logistics Regiment 37 (March 2022-April 2024), and Command Senior Enlisted Leader of Marine Fighter Attack Squadron 214 (April 2024-June 2026).
His deployments include: Unit Deployment Program (UDP) with Marine Fighter Attack Squadron 314, 13 Marine Expeditionary Unit with Marine Attack Squadron 214, and UDP with Marine Fighter Attack Squadron 214. Sergeant Major Yeaman has also participated in Resolute Dragon 21 aboard the Combined Arms Training Center Camp Fuji in Shizuoka Prefecture, Japan, as well as the Korean Marine Exchange Program 24.1 aboard Camp Mujuk, South Korea.
Sergeant Major Yeaman's assignments outside of the Fleet Marine Force include: Drill Instructor, Senior Drill Instructor, Chief Drill Instructor Duty with 3rd Recruit Training Battalion, Marine Corps Recruit Depot San Diego, CA, (June 2008-February 2012), Avionics Electronics Lead Instructor, Marine Aviation Training Support Group 23 Pensacola, FL, (August 2015-March 2018), Assistant Marine Officer Instructor at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, and Sergeant Instructor, Unit Senior Enlisted Leader at Office Candidate School Quantico, VA (March 2018-October 2020).
Sergeant Major Yeaman's personal awards include the Meritorious Service Medal with one gold star, Navy and Marine Corps Commendation Medal with two gold stars, Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal, and various other Service and Campaign medals.
