Earle, a former corpsman with Headquarters and Service Company, 1st battalion, 7th Marine Regiment, stationed out of Marine Corps Air Ground Combat Center, Twentynine Palms, Calif., saved the lives of three strangers in a vehicle rollover on a Southern California Interstate July 15, 2008, with the help of a Marine Corps scout sniper in his unit, Lance Cpl.
