Spc. Sherhan, translator, 51st Translator Interpreter Company, and Capt. Andrew Kressin, company commander, Company D, 3rd Light Armored Reconnaissance Battalion, reunited at the Army’s National Training Center, Fort Irwin, Calif., Jan. 18 to Feb. 2, after working together in Iraq in 2003. Marines work alongside civilian volunteers during a community outreach program at Duroville, Calif., hosted by the Southwest Community Church in Indian Wells, Calif., Jan. 31.
