Sgt. Rajyon Imes, barracks manager, 7th Marine Regiment, was awarded a Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal by Col. William H. Vivian, commanding officer, 7th Marine Regiment, Oct. 5, 2017, for his contribution to the renovations at barracks 1404 aboard the Combat Center. Marines with 7th Marines and Public Works Division personnel renovated rooms and lounges for the purpose of providing improved living quarters for the deployed Marines of the regiment. Cpl. James B. Wilson, forward observer, 3rd Battalion, 11th Marine Regiment, grew up practicing multiple martial arts. Sgt. Steven J. K. Elliott, vehicle commander, 1st Tank Battalion, loves to build computers. He built his own personal gaming computer and has helped others build their own PC’s.
