MARINE CORPS AIR GROUND COMBAT CENTER TWENTYNINE PALMS, Calif. - Cpl. Justin T. Rice, an ammunition technician with the Combat Center's Central Magazine Area dressed as an 1898 Marine who fought in Guantanamo Bay, stands stoically at parade rest after the Combat Center's 234th Marine Corps Birthday Pageant Nov. 6 at Lance Cpl. Torrey L. Grey Field. As Rice took the field, a short synopsis of the role Marines of 1898 played was read.
