Navy Lt. Bryan Davenport, the chaplain of 3rd Combat Engineer Battalion, works an old masonry tool left on Keys Ranch in Joshua Tree National Park during a guided tour Jan. 28. Davenport and 13 other Marines and sailors from the battalion to help restore a cabin which had succumbed to the harsh climate of the Mojave Desert and removed unwanted vegetation from the ranch.
