Lance Cpls. Jhonatan Cardenes (left) and Justin Clark, both electricians with Support Company, 3rd Combat Engineer Battalion, remove unwanted vegetation from the grounds of Keys Ranch in Joshua Tree National Park Jan. 28. Cardenes, Clark and 12 other Marines and sailors from the battalion spent Jan. 28 helping restore a cabin which had succumbed to the harsh climate of the Mojave Desert and removing unwanted vegetation from the ranch.
