Navy Lt. Bryan Davenport, the chaplain of 3rd Combat Engineer Battalion, makes his way through a pile of wood, removing any unwanted vegetation at Keys Ranch in Joshua Tree National Park Jan 28. Ranch visits are only available by appointment Saturdays and Sundays during park ranger-guided tours at 10 a.m. and 1 p.m. from October through May.
