Mullen III, Combat Center Commanding General, presents Brian Henen, ecologist, Natural Resources and Environmental Affairs, with the 2016 Secretary of the Navy Environmental Award for Natural Resource Conservation aboard Marine Corps Air Ground Combat Center, Twentynine Palms, Calif., Sept. 27, 2016. Additionally, Chris Elliott, water resources manager, NREA, received the Secretary of the Navy Environmental Award for Environmental Quality. These awards highlight Henen and Elliott’s efforts in supporting the installation’s progressive conservation standards and long-standing reputation of being good stewards of the environment.
