Marines ride in a light armored vehicle during the 29 Palms Pioneer Day Parade in Twentynine Palms, Calif., Oct. 20, 2018. Pioneer Days started in 1937 and since then has evolved into a celebration and parade. The Combat Center and local community keep relations strong with events like these, giving them the opportunity to connect. (U.S. Marine Corps photo by Lance Cpl. Dave Flores)
