Marine Corps Air Ground Combat Center Marines and sailors pose with Melonia Phillips Anderson, her husband, Randy Anderson, and retired Marine Col. Billy D. Bouldin during the trio’s Nov. 16, 2018, tour of the base and the memorial monument to Melonia Anderson’s brother, Seabee Victor B. Phillips, who was killed in a construction accident Aug. 31, 1976, while helping building the road between Mainside and the new airfield at Camp Wilson.
