Defense Logistics Agency Disposition Services contract personnel prepare to load lead acid batteries onto a truck for removal from MCB Camp Pendleton in California in December. A hazardous waste sales contract managed by DLA helped the base avoid disposal costs on almost 325,000 pounds of batteries during fiscal 2022.
