The Combat Center wants to help your new kindergarten students prepare for the new school year. Join us for the 2024 Kinder Round-up on May 15 from 4 to 6 p.m. at the Youth Services Center Courtyard, Bldg 693.
The resource fair will feature helpful information for new kindergarten students including information from Morongo Unified School District representatives and the Combat Center School Liaison. There will be generous giveaways for students while supplies last.
The School Liaison Program identifies and coordinates community resources to reduce the impact of the mobile military lifestyle on military school-age children and families. The program provides a wide array of services, working directly with the command, families, school districts, and local communities to promote the highest level of academic success for military children and their families.

Morongo Unified School District
The Combat Center is served by a single school district, MUSD. Currently, the district has 11 elementary schools, two middle schools, two comprehensive high schools, one continuation high school, two state preschool programs and a special education preschool program. Morongo Unified School District also offers a number of Career and Technical Education (CTE) programs and opportunities through the Academy for College and Career Excellence (AC2E). AC2E provides quality, hands-on training programs to high school students and adults and prepares students to be career ready, technically skilled and academically prepared.
