Thomas Mudd Marine Corps Air Ground Combat Center Twentynine Palms PRINT SHARE TWENTYNINE PALMS, Calif. - -- Marines from 1st Tank Battalion and Marine Corps Communication-Electronics School volunteered in a cleanup at a location the city of Twentynine Palms, Calif., reported as an illegal dump site, Nov. 6, 2015. Approximately 20 Marines worked with members of the city throughout the morning cleaning the area in an effort to help the community. According to Larry Bowden, city superintendent, city of Twentynine Palms, the Marines helped move approximately 25,000 pounds of garbage from the site.
