Following the annual Battle Color ceremony aboard the base, Marines and students headed to Victory Park to eat a bag lunch. After lunch the Marines spent time playing games with the children and answering their questions.

“We wanted to start doing helpful things for the students,” said Navy Lt. Mark White, chaplain, 3/4.

“Getting to know them, mentor them and get involved with their physical education classes is a great way for the Marines to remain involved in the local community.”
