Master Gunnery Sergeant Edwin A. Guzman
Master Gunnery Sergeant Guzman enlisted in the Marine Corps in June 2000 and earned the military occupational specialty 0431 Logistics/Embarkation Specialist.
In February 2001, he reported to Combat Service Support Detachment - 36 (CSSD-36) Iwakuni, Japan.
In February 2002, Lance Corporal Guzman PCS to Camp Pendleton, CA where he reported to 1st Marine Regiment where he was the embark NCO.
In Jan 2005 Corporal Guzman reported to Marine Aviation Logistics Squadron, 3rd Marine Air Wing. During this tour he served as the Embark Chief, Logistics Chief, shop NCOIC and platoon sergeant.
Jan 2006, Sergeant Guzman reported into 3rd Marine Air Wing G-4 as an individual augment (IA) to deploy to Iraq in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom.
In May 2008, Sergeant Guzman reported to MEF Headquarters Group, 1 Marine Expeditionary Force, Camp Pendleton, CA.
In April 2011, Staff Sergeant Guzman reported to 1st Reconnaissance Battalion, 1st Marine Division Camp Pendleton, CA where he served as the S-4 Shop SNCOIC, Logistics Chief.
In July of 2013, Gunnery Sergeant Guzman reported to the USS Green Bay (LPD-20), at Naval Base San Diego, CA to serve as the Senior Combat Cargo Assistant.
In July 2015 Master Sergeant Guzman reports to Marine Air Support Squadron 2, Marine Air Control Group 18, 1st MAW where he served as the S-4 Shop SNCOIC, Logistics/Mobility Chief.
In June 2016 Master Sergeant Guzman reports to Combat Logistics Battalion 1, Combat Logistics Regiment 1, 1st Marine Logistics Group where he served as the S-3 Shop SNCOIC, Operations Chief.
In July 2019 Master Sergeant Guzman reports to 11th Marine Regiment, 1st Marine Division where he served as the S-4 Shop SNCOIC, Logistics Chief. In January 2020 he was promoted to the rank of Master Gunnery Sergeant and reported to 1st Marine Logistics Group to be the G-4 Chief.
In April 2021, Master Gunnery Sergeant Guzman reported to Marine Corps Logistics Operations Group, Marine Corps Air Ground Combat Center Twentynine Palms where he is currently serving as the Senior Enlisted Advisor.
