Combat Center honors civilian

Maj. Gen. Lewis A. Craparotta, Combat Center Commanding General, presented Ronald Genet, former deputy assistant chief of staff, G5, the Meritorious Civilian Service Award at Lance Cpl. Torrey L. Gray Field, Jan. 11, 2016.



Genet was recognized for his efforts and accomplishments while serving in the G5 for more than six years. Marine Corps Order 12451.2C states the Meritorious Civilian Service Award is given to a civilian employee who contributes to an area of operation, resulting in high value or benefits to the Marine Corps. Genet now serves as the facilities maintenance officer at the Combat Center’s Public Works Division.
